STORIES OF WARD SIX

Sustainability Reporting with Professor John Sutter

Spring 2024

Over the course of the semester, my reporting partner — Mya Petryshyn — and I explored D.C.’s Ward 6 and reported on environmental issues and impacts across the Ward.

We talked to a school teacher, a riverkeeper, the Spokesperson for the National Mall, a scientist, activists, students and scholars.

This course was challenging and rewarding. Mya and I are so proud of what we created. Our stories are published on a Substack blog, which can be accessed below.
